Tammy Ann Kramer
Tammy Ann Kramer passed away at her home in Windsor, Colo., on August 6, 2011, at age 50. Tammy was born May 7, 1961, in Huntington, W.Va., the daughter of Carl and Pansy (Paul) Welton.
Tammy and William Kramer III were married on December 13, 1980, in Ontario, Calif. Tammy was a devoted stay-at-home mom until her daughters, Megan and Courtney, were in high school.
As her daughters grew up she began her quest in her passion, teaching. In 1981 she received an AA in Business Administration from Chaffey College, Ontario, Calif.; then a BA in Liberal Arts from Cal Poly in Pomona, Calif., in 1995; and then her BA in Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming in 2000.
She then started teaching, first in Natrona County District in Casper, Wyo., as a substitute and later as a 5th and 6th grade teacher at Pineview Elementary. Locally, Tammy taught at St. Joseph's Catholic School in Fort Collins for 2 years, and then taught 6th Grade Middle School math for Windsor Middle School. Teaching was, indeed, Tammy's passion. She gladly worked 12 to 14 hour days, 7 days per week during the school years to give her students the best they could receive. Tammy was extremely proud to be called a teacher; and she was, truly, one of the excellent ones.
Somehow, Tammy found time to read-voraciously… she had already read almost any book you might ask her about. And she also enjoyed golfing and traveling, having seen much of the world during her 30-year marriage to Bill.
Tammy also leaves a rich legacy of love in her husband, William; and in her daughters, Megan Christine Kramer and Courtney Elizabeth Kramer; and grandson, Carter William Kramer. She is also survived by her mother, Pansy Paul; sister, Michelle Gross; and niece, Lindsey Deasey. Tammy was preceded by her father, Carl.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 11, at 10:00 a.m., at the Allnutt Drake Chapel. A reception will follow, and Bill and the family would sincerely appreciate that time to share with friends.

Jim Kramer, Glen Soyer, William Kanne, Dale Fogerty, Glen Leiting, and Dale Vonnahme. Burial will be at the Corpus Christi Catholic Cemetery in Fort Dodge. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 pm Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory. A wake service will begin at 8 pm Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Francis Home or Community
